Hadlow Pro 2013

  Product Overview

The second generation Hadlow Pro is the signature model of 5x World Champion Aaron Hadlow, the undisputed king of freestyle kitesurfing. Developed to his precise specification with unrivalled attention to detail, its no surprise that the Hadlow Pro is consistently likened to a Formula One car in its purity of design and performance.
Aaron’s influence through the kite’s development has been consistently high through each iteration of the Hadlow Pro, from performance, to graphics, to strict adherence to the highest standards in quality and relentless pursuit of perfection. With the Hadlow Pro, you’re guaranteed to be flying exactly the same product that Aaron himself has achieved such astounding success on.
A freestyle machine, the Hadlow Pro demonstrates a super-fast turn rate and consistent power through the turn to enable you to really showcase your skills. According to Aaron’s instructions, the Hadlow Pro will race to the top of the window, enabling massively powered megaloops with predictable control and forgiving landings. Never happy however, for the second generation Hadlow Pro, we’ve made improvements on the kites re-launch ability, reduced its weight, increased its strength and improved bar feedback to consistently strive for the ultimate kiting machine.
If you want to fly like Hadlow, or even if you want to beat him, you can be equipped with nothing better than the Hadlow Pro.

Technical Information
The Hadlow Pro was inspired by Aaron’s constant pursuit of perfection and disciplined approach to becoming the best in the world. We’ve taken this same approach in the development of the Hadlow Pro to create a kite truly worthy of the 5x World Champion.
Six Strut System
In its second generation, the Hadlow Pro has seen the addition of a six strut system to leap the kites performance levels forward with increased drive through kite loops and improved feedback from the bar, allowing you to instinctively feel what the kite is doing and where it is in the sky.
Refined Profile and Aerofoil
Aaron loved the powered kite loop ability that already existed with his smaller 7m and wanted this performance across the range. Significant improvements have been achieved by designing a new aerofoil shape. The new Hadlow Pro now races to the top of the window in all sizes, de livering the punchy drive that is required for Aaron’s powered riding style.
Advanced Leading Edge Design
The ultra-thin leading edge tube gives the very best speed through the window, increasing the manoeuvrability of the kite. In addition, the leading edge support maintains the correct shape, increasing power production. In four-line mode, this is even more pronounced; the two four meter extensions are attached to the front lines which means the tow point of the kite is less affected when the kite is loaded up, thereby keeping the grunt in the kite which is required for Aaron’s signature powered wakestyle moves.
Inflatable Wingtip Struts
Getting the kite off the water fast is important to Aaron. In a seven minute PKRA heat Aaron regularly pulls an incred ible 20+ tricks! If he drops his kite it’s vital that he can get it off the water fast. The second generation Hadlow Pro incorporates inflat able wingtip batons across the whole range, though the smaller sizes 5.5, 7 and 9, retain an optional rigid baton, to provide direct turning response.
Construction for a World Champion
Aaron demands the very best levels of construction to give him the same level of performance from one trick to the next. With the Hadlow Pro, we’ve developed an extreme kite that requires exceptional construction standards. Consequently, the flying lines have been upgraded to withstand up to 270kg of power, whilst maintaining exactly the same length as used by Aaron.
To nail his tricks and to help you nail yours, Aaron demanded the Hadlow Pro be as light as possible but he wouldn’t sacrifice on durability and neither would we. That’s why we’ve fitted Ballistic Nylon so that the stitching is protected against the rough beach environment. We’ve also reduced the bumpers’ size to reduce the weight as much as possible.
We don’t miss at trick at Flexifoil and recognise that today’s kiter follows the wind everywhere, particularly kiters like Aaron. We’ve developed the 11m and 13m kites to pack down to the size of the 9m to make your life easier.
New XS Size
New for this year, the Hadlow Pro is now available in 5.5m size perfect for lighter, younger riders and women. The 5.5 is incredibly fast and powerful and for the experienced rider only, presents a realistic option for riding in up to 40 knots!
