A new way of thinking, a new dimension in windsurfing.

The revolution from fastening your old wooden boom with rope around your mast, to using a conventional boom head clamped onto your mast, has happened again.

The revolutionary Ωmega boom system doesn’t have a front end-piece as a conventional boom, it doesn’t have a conventional boom head. The Ωmega system connects directly to the mast, ensuring a perfect bond between these 2 rig components.

The advantage by connecting the boom arms directly to the mast, rather than a conventional boom circling in a curve around the front of the sail, is that the rig becomes harmonious; the power generated in the sail is contained within its two furthest points, the mast and the outhaul grommet, making it possible to control the sail in a wider wind range as well as keeping the centre of effort balanced and improving the handling of the rig.

The unique manufacturing of the Ωmega boom arms is made using a carbon honeycomb construction that is bonded in a autoclave. This ensures the boom arms superior stiffness and ultra light weight in comparison to conventional moulding. The Ωmega system attaches to the mast with two half moon shells. These two shells encases the mast completely so that less clamp force is needed to have a secure fitting and adding less stress to the mast.

The Ωmega boom allows the mast to have a full reflex as the system is build using disc loaded suspension system that can be adjusted according to rider preference. Fully tightened the boom is rigid and direct in its feel. Used at factory setting the arms can move up and down allowing for the mast full swing, with no restriction from a tight fitted boom head, adding more power to your sail in light wind and comfort in choppy condition or when landing a hard jump.
